Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family located in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. The first two films she made got noticed and earned her an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's feature film Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, she was named the top female box office participant in the entire world. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and many more. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
