Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the same year, she made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become a popular director for well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
