Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades for her A-Levels. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female in addition to the category for Best acting in a Drama. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor after Arthur Darvill left the series and was to play the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat said that he chose Coleman to play the role of companion due to her ability to work best with Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the film industry since 1987. But, she's more popular for her television projects rather instead of films. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. The latter even garnered her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to explore her creativity in music. Eva as well as acting as an actress, is a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. Her third husband is father of her daughter.
