Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has more than twenty albums. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award winner. As one of first female artists in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her own record label. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. The parents of her mother and father were both of Montreal from Montreal. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song debuted on her 1995 sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl. On the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a variant of this track. In 2013 DiFranco apologized after it was revealed that she was hosting the three-day event on a former Louisiana plantation for slaves. A lot of people (including us) weren't moved by her cancellation. DiFranco released an apology a couple of weeks after. While she has been known by the name of Little Folksinger her music has embraced many kinds of genres and collaborates from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. New Orleans is her home. Ani diFranco as well as Kristen Ford are together. By 14 she was creating her own music. She performed them in bars and coffeehouses through her teenage years. DiFranco began attending Buffalo State College when she was just 16 and a half years old. She graduated the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts when she was just 16 years old. Ani's customized Alvarez baritone came about after several meetings we held with Chrys Johnson who was the artist representative for Alvarez. The guitar is constructed from solid wood and has an ebony top and cedar sides. The guitar also comes with the System 600 Preamp. The home she lives in is New Orleans. There she lives with husband, children as well as her long-legged companion Lefty. DiFranco is admitting that, more than three decades after her initial appearance in music, she still isn't sure what to expect when looking back. Ani DiFranco achieved her musical icon status as a singer/songwriter and punk/folk at the age 25, both in the eyes of critics and fans, with Not A Pretty Girl.
