Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream and a knack of writing songs with emotional uplifting lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of contemporary mainstream pop as well as artistic independent music.
